What an exciting start to our High Flying Adventure!
Last night we had 69 kids in attendance! Thanks to our great registration team!

A Vacation Bible School director's job is never done. Here Molly is helping a little girl who was scared of the photo prop. Molly graciously volunteered her head to show the little girl there was nothing to be afraid of! :)

VBS is a great opportunity to build friendships!
Day 1's closing offered a game show with different flying toys. The children had to guess which toy would fly the farthest. The point was to show that people often judge what is on the outside, but things aren't always what they seem and God knows what is inside.
The toys that were supposed to go the farthest encountered technical difficulties (not on purpose) but God put his word into action and showed that things aren't always as we expect them to be.
